Your 8-Week Moving Checklist
Eight weeks is the sweet spot for a New Jersey move — enough time to sort, pack and book a crew without the last-minute scramble.
A stress-free move is really a well-spaced to-do list. Work down this timeline one week at a time and, by moving day, the only thing left to think about is the coffee. Pair it with our packing tips for box-by-box technique, and when you're ready to lock in a date, request a free estimate from a licensed New Jersey mover.

What NOT to Pack
A few household shortcuts cause real problems on moving day:
- No aerosols, paint thinner, gasoline or other flammables — movers cannot transport them.
- Skip grocery-store cartons — used food boxes can carry bugs into your new home.
- Garment bags can't replace wardrobe cartons — hanging clothes travel best in the boxes we supply.
